Rain!

It finally rained! It has rained a little bit here and there the past couple days but not much.

Today it was hot, humid, and dry, like usual. Then really quickly it got really dark out and windy and then it started pouring rain. It felt like hail. The chicks were out in their pen and started freaking out. There is a old shower curtain that I use for shade in their pen and they didn't want to go under it so I went in the pen and me and the 3 chicks all went under it for a couple minutes, when it didn't stop raining I gave up and just put them away.

Here I just wanted to brighten up the whole picture, personally this one is my favorite.

Rural Thursday #27: Flowers, Sad News, and Other Stuff

I don't know what these flowers are but I really like them! Does anyone know what they are?

When I was taking the picture I didn't even see that little ant!

I'm not sure why I never shared the news with you guys but, the 3 ducklings got eaten almost a month and a half ago. I let them go free range way too soon and they went in the woods  by the stream and a raccoon got them :(  R.I.P. Nicki (grey), R.I.P. Oreo (brown), and R.I.P. Goldilocks (blond).

Oh, and all of the chicks are roosters!

I love how barbed-wire is wrapped around itself over and over again.

Kiya (left) and Henny Penny (right) spent a lot of time together, Kiya is 9 and Henny Penny was 10. 2 days ago, a predator got Henny Penny. R.I.P. Henny Penny.

My story is my photography story, this is the first photo I ever put on my blog, that was almost 7 months ago, my first blog post. When I put it on my blog I thought it was a good picture.

Now I can't believe that I posted it. I have grown a lot in the sense of photography and in my opinion it has has gotten to be quite good. I'm not a professional photography by a long shot, but I hope I will be someday.
