This is Owly, he hatched June 11 last year.
I named him Owly cause as you can see in the picture above
he had brown around his eyes like big owl eyes!
He hatched along with 12 others while we were gone at a soccer tournament so we came home
to find a bunch of little chicks!
Hes a really cool rooster, one of the only colorful roosters we have.
And hes not even that mean, I'm definitely going to keep him around a long, long time!

What a pretty rooster! We do not have a rooster in our hen house because hubs promised the neighbor on that side of the property no rooster.....I am still out on that after two years. Who knows there may still be a rooster in the future, I may have to make a neighborly visit the next time we are sharing eggs.

Actually he never wakes me up cause he almost never crows, and when he does its a very strange sound..
