Friday Fences 3.15.12

I've always loved the look of barbed wire up close.

I always thought these were cool trees with the posts sticking through them.
This is really the only 'fence' in all of these pictures, but I think it still counts as a Friday Fence!

It's amazing how the tree has manage to grow around the post.

Yes, definitely a fence! Trees are amazing - how they just grow around obstacles, incorporating them in their own form...nice shot!

A testament to the strength of trees--they just keep growing ignoring any fence posts in in their way or barb wire that cuts into their bark. A lesson for we humans?

I am always seeing metal post like this one shoved down into the ground similar to the way this one is done. It works quite well. Your macro of the barbed wire is awesome. I, too, love to photograph it. Your photo is about the best I have ever seen. Great post. genie
