Isn't she adorable? This is Raven who will be 2 weeks old on

May 3rd.

Out of 7 chicks she is still the only one with a name.

She is half Black Australorp and Half Ameraucana.

She looks more like a Ameraucana and I hope it stays like that!

This is the only edited photo in this post, I used Lomoish to boost the colors and blur the edges.

Edit Me Challenge Week 17

This is my photo that I would like to be judged.

Here's what I did for the first edit.

1. Crop it so its just the flowers.
2. I'm feeling lucky, which just brightened the colors a tiny bit.
3. Lomoish, which added a neon look and focused more on the flowers.
4. 1960's to give it an older look.
5. Polaroid which just changed the shape of the picture

This one is just for fun.

1. Invert colors so its purples and blues.
2. 1960's to give the background a pinky color.
3. Vignette, which blurs the edges.

Leap Into Spring! Blossom/Trees

The sun was so bright my camera couldnt focus on it so I got behind a tree and Wa-La!

Some kind of Crabapple tree, I just love the colors.

I love the trees that go out in all different directions.

Doesn't all the trees together look kind of cool?

This isn't a crabapple tree, and I don't know what it i,s but it sure is pretty!

The sunset just a few nights ago. The sun was so bright that my camera couldn't focus so I got behind a tree and Wa-La!

6 Chicks!

As soon as I put the 6 chicks in their box they immediately started drinking water, good chickys!

I am so glad they hatched. But yesterday and earlier today two suffocated.

And two other ones that hatched today were a bit deformed.

But these 6 are doing great!

 Arent they just adorable?

They are very loud, but I don't mind it one bit!

I wasn't able to get a lot of really good pics but from now on whenever I go down to check on them I will take lots of pictures!

I don't really have any name ideas yet so feel free too

share some names!

The next two pictures are the same chick (and the only one I can tell apart from the others!), her/his name is Raven.

Is it just me or does she look a tiny bit like a tophat?

Oh how I love baby chicks ;)

And they are already so fluffy!

I will be doing lots of posts with these guys so keep checking back!
