A is for Alanna

This is Alanna. She is a full Ameraucana, and she just
recently turned 5 years old!

She has layed one egg this year, and it was a perfect egg!
Just as I was just about to put it in the incubator, I dropped it.
Whoops..

You dropped her egg!! Poor Alanna
had only 1 egg in a year.. is it her
age? How long do chickens live?
I'd love to have chickens but my
HOA said NO and I have to go find
farm raised eggs, it's not easy
here... Pretty girl
Happy A

What a sweet girl! Maybe she'll have another egg. Our oldest, the only one that lays white eggs, is still putting out an egg once in awhile. Too bad the rooster is useless.

I love chickens! Have you ever thought about the wonderful curves of a chicken's head? From an artistic viewpoint, they are so beautiful. Great "A"!!!!

Alanna is beautiful and your shot of her is great. Too bad about the egg, but things happen.

She looks like a sweet ole gal. I hope you don't chew gum, if you drop it in a chicken yard you'll be hard pressed to find it! :D ~Ames

Alanna is absolutely lovely.

I really enjoy seeing your sweet, egg-laying friends.

Ames comment made me laugh.

And shudder!

Thanks for linking up for the letter A.
