B is for Buffalo the Chicken

Buffalo just turned 5 and has started laying eggs again after about a year long break.

When she was just a few weeks old she fell in a bucket of water for about 10mins. When my older sister found her she ran inside and had my little sister warm up a hot pack and cuddle her with a blanket.

She is a little crazy so I think that might of had something to do with it...

Mumu the Cat

Mumu is the perfect model, he stays still even when hes not sleeping so I can get good pics all the time.

I love taking pics at a bunch of different angles, it can make the same thing look completely different.

His new area is in a shelf that we have on the porch.

This is one of my fav pics of him, all splayed out and he looks happy.

The chicks are getting so big! They went through the awkward stage really fast and now they are just adorable! I say this is the best stage because they actually look like hens now.

I puzzled over this prompt for awhile, then I hung out by the stream for awhile trying to think of a way to capture it.
What do YOU think?

1 - Beneath Your Feet.

The stream is constantly moving!

2 - Capturing Movement.

I love the texture of brown sugar!

3 - Texture.

A lot of people are scared of chickens, especially roosters!

Its true, a lot of roosters are mean, or at least look mean.

Like this one, he looks kind of mean, but he is the nicest and tamest rooster I have ever had!

4 - Face Your Fears.

It is currently raining, and it has been all day.

I usually don't like rain (unless I'm playing soccer in it!), but in this case I was able to get a lot of really pretty photos!
